http://photobucket.com/images/achebe/I really enjoyed reading the novel "Things Fall Apart" because it feels like I became closer to Africa when I read it. Reading this novel gave me a hint of what it is like to live in Africa. It seems that I am really present there when Ezinma got sick, when Okonkwo accidentally kills a boy, when Okonkwo's family was exiled until the time when they returned to Umuofia, when the Missionaries arrived and until when Okonkwo finammy kills himself.
Although I admire Okonkwo for his wisdom, courage and for his plans for his tribe, I strongly disagree with his way of treating his opposite gender. ='c
