Things Fall Apart, a novel written by Chinua Achebe.

It is an African novel that portrays the African way of life. Africans, as our group have read, value and play great respect and importance to their gods. They even have festivals in order to give thanks to each of their gods.

The characters, especially the prominent ones (and even the narrator) used figurative expressions like metaphor, simile, personification and etc.

The novel is in the third person point of view because the one speaking in the story is not a part os not a character in it. The novel also made use of the "stream of consciousness technique" because there are times that the store goes back to the past to show the things that has happened for the readers to understand the present.

Things Fall Apart is indeed a great and classical novel of all times!!!
